An exciting opportunity has become available for a trade/trade assistant.
The role will see you a part of our team, based out of our headquarters in Wangara.
You will be reporting directly to the company director.
This role is offered on a 3-month period (on casual) at minimum 38-hour week, Monday to Friday, with the potential to progress to a full-time position subject to a performance review.
About us: Ciltech is a growing business supplying a range of marine related products and providing marine construction services such as piling.
Our primary product specialty is our own in-house locally developed and manufactured floating pontoon/jetty system in Western Australia.
This system is used in both residential and commercial applications.
Tasks & responsibilities: Site work opportunity; assisting with demolition, maintenance & construction of jetty systems.Assist with floating & tiling of pontoon assemblies.Support fabrication team with cutting of materials & fixings.Support site team with construction activities for residential & commercial pontoon systems & marinas.Requirements for the role: Preference for a relevant building and/or construction trade e.g.
carpenter.MUST have a Valid Australian Driver's License.MUST have a Valid forklift ticket.MUST have dogman or riggers certification.(Preference, but not essential) valid telehandler ticket.Preference for at least 2 years relevant jetty and/or marine experience.Preference for relevant building and/or construction maintenance activities.Able to read and analyze fabrication drawings.Reliable and punctual.Able to take initiative.Ability to work as part of a team, and take lead if necessary.What we can offer: 3-month term, with Full-Time employment subject to performance review.A competitive hourly rate.Unique opportunity in the marine construction industry.For further questions regarding the role or to learn more about us, you can contact us at , or you can visit www.ciltech.com.au.
