Track Maintenance Technician

As a Track Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving rail systems that drive operational success.
Reporting to the Track Maintenance Supervisor, this position involves working within a 5-person track team to ensure safe and efficient rail operations.
This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in challenging and rewarding work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing safety and collaboration.
Duties: Perform turnout refurbishments to maintain and improve track alignment and functionality.Replace Insulated Rail Joints (IRJ) to ensure track safety and performance.Conduct ballast remediation to maintain proper track stability and alignment.Carry out mobile flashbutt welding for rail defect removal and joint integrity.Address rail defects with precision, with safety at the forefront.Operate work trains, including ballast hoppers and rail trains, where required.Coordinate and communicate effectively with the team to integrate mechanical maintenance and repairs into overall operations.
