About the role:
Aurizon is offering an exciting opportunity for a Rail Track Infrastructure Inspector to join the well-established Infrastructure Team in Central NT to support the exciting growth within our Bulk business. You will closely examine Aurizon's rail tracks to ensure operations can be performed safely and efficiently. You will-
Conduct inspections in accordance with Aurizon's Track Standards for Yards
Proactively examine, fault-finding, and identify maintenance needs by Hyrail or walking track
Report any faults or track issues to Superintendent/Maintenance Team for Prioritising
Service and maintain points to ensure turnouts are operating properly
Opportunity to work with timber and Concrete assets
Frequent travel required from Alice Springs to Tennant Creek or Tarcoola
Attend to Call outs and urgent inspection requirements
Inputting data and creating work orders in AMS
About you:
Certificate 3 in Rail Infrastructure or equivalent
Full and current 'C' Class Driver Licence is mandatory
Hyrail operation experience
Previous or current experience in Inspector role or similar
Feel comfortable with traveling & working autonomously
Find repetitive tasks and routine satisfying
Possess strong interpersonal communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder management
Basic computer literacy skills
