About the role: Aurizon is offering an exciting opportunity for a Rail Track Infrastructure Inspector to join the well-established Infrastructure Team in Central NT to support the exciting growth within our Bulk business. You will closely examine Aurizon's rail tracks to ensure operations can be performed safely and efficiently. You will:
Conduct inspections in accordance with Aurizon's Track Standards for YardsProactively examine, fault-find, and identify maintenance needs by Hyrail or walking trackReport any faults or track issues to Superintendent/Maintenance Team for prioritizingService and maintain points to ensure turnouts are operating properlyWork with timber and concrete assetsFrequent travel required from Alice Springs to Tennant Creek or TarcoolaAttend to call outs and urgent inspection requirementsInput data and create work orders in AMSAbout you: Certificate 3 in Rail Infrastructure or equivalentFull and current 'C' Class Driver Licence is mandatoryHyrail operation experiencePrevious or current experience in an Inspector role or similarComfortable with traveling & working autonomouslyFind repetitive tasks and routines satisfyingPossess strong interpersonal communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder managementBasic computer literacy skillsWhat we can offer you: At Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees to reach their full potential.
