About the Role This role is responsible for providing guidance and support to the Administration Officers within the Admin Planning Team. The team provides support to the Water section including:
Management of the Administration Officers in the Admin Planning Team Work order creation and management through to completion Management of standpipes You will also provide advice on operational, policy and governance issues to ensure the administration function across the division can respond appropriately and act as a central point of contact and provide a consultative role regarding area of expertise.
You will contribute to the improvement of workflows, systems, processes, policies and procedures, making informed recommendations on change and improvement initiatives and provide direct administrative support to the General Manager if required.
About You Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years in an administration role, supporting a multi-disciplinary team along with expertise in an administrative, financial, legal or analytical discipline. Ideally, you will have qualifications commensurate with Certificate IV in Business or similar competency.
You will have experience developing the skills and knowledge of others within a team environment, excellent customer service skills and desirably proficiency in council systems including but not limited to, CI Anywhere/CES/Property and Rating.
You will require a "C" class drivers' licence and must be willing to undertake duties in various council work locations and teams throughout the Infrastructure and Operations Division as required.
