The Townsville Bulletin is on the market for a new deputy editor.
The deputy editor will be in charge of the Bulletin's content production for print and digital platforms, including monitoring leads that may grow into huge stories and mentoring journalists with their own workplace development.
The position is open to seasoned journalists with a detailed record of editor-level experience, fair judgment in content production, writing within deadlines, and deep knowledge across various topics. Candidates familiar with North Queensland politics may be considered.
