Job Description - Tower Inspector (2400000M) ABOUT THE ROLE
The Tower Inspector is responsible for climbing inspections, asset condition, audits & minor maintenance on BAI, NSW Telco, Airservices and other contracted antenna support structures and antenna systems to meet the value expectations of the internal and external customers in terms of capability, reliability, time and cost. Enjoy Australia as you travel across the country 200 days per year, with the opportunity to climb up to 200 metres.
Key Responsibilities: Inspection of Broadcast/Telecommunications antennas and structures including towers, monopoles, guyed masts and rooftop structures throughout Australia. Completing inspection templates on a digital device or paper copy to document all issues found on the structure members, platforms, access ladders, fall arrest systems foundations, guys, antennas, feeders, feeder ladders and Aircraft Warning Light systems. Inspecting structure and RF earthing, measuring verticality of structures and undertaking guy tensions. Auditing antennas on the structure against provided equipment lists. Carry out minor maintenance and repairs on the structure and antenna systems as required. Other rigging and general work as required by the company from time to time. ABOUT YOU Comfortable working at heights up to 200m. Experience in Communications/Broadcast Rigging. Working knowledge of Rigging, Working at Heights and Tower Rescue. RadHaz/EME Awareness. Experience with EWPs and cranes as required to carry out site work. Competent with Microsoft Office Applications. Inspection and certification of Lad-Saf Fall Arrest Systems. EWP ticket preferred. Construction industry White Card, Current drivers licence is mandatory. Preference is for Brisbane based candidates. Australian Citizenship essential to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance as a condition of employment. BENEFITS & CULTURE
