Location: Dalby Visitor Information Centre
About the Opportunity Based at the Dalby Visitor Information Centre, you will be responsible for promoting and marketing tourism, undertaking tourism activities and effectively delivering services in order to support the operations of the Dalby Visitor Information Centre and Chinchilla when required.
Reporting to the Tourism Program Leader, you will be:
Undertaking the efficient and effective delivery of Visitor Information Centre activities and operations;Managing the Visitor Information Centre accreditation by maintaining operation manuals, business plan, staff and volunteer training, minimum opening hours and brochure display requirements; andUndertaking the delivery of tourism related projects, including product development, destination marketing and industry development.About yourself The successful applicant will have experience in:
Considering emerging trends and innovative solutions when developing broader priorities, strategies, and approaches.Working across different agencies, levels of government, and the private and not-for-profit sectors to develop appropriate responses.Seeking to understand stakeholder perspectives and how they interrelate.
