Join Tourism Top End (TTE) as a Key Team Member Tourism Top End (TTE) is a not-for-profit, member-driven regional tourism organisation based in Darwin. As the voice of the Top End tourism industry, we work closely with our members and the wider tourism sector to deliver impactful programs and initiatives. Partnering with the Northern Territory Government, City of Darwin, and the Australian Tourism Industry Council, TTE is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and sustainable tourism landscape.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to support our General Manager and leadership team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of strategic priorities, program commitments, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the General Manager and leadership team to implement the Association's strategic plan and fulfil partnership obligations. Provide secretarial support to the Board, including preparing agendas, managing documentation, and coordinating logistics (equipment, travel and venues). Deliver comprehensive administrative support to the General Manager, including schedule management, prioritisation, and preparation for engagements. Assist with grant processes, such as applications, renewals, reporting, and financial reconciliations. Coordinate travel arrangements for the General Manager and Board across the Top End region. Organise and support sectoral sub-committee meetings, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration with members. Foster and maintain strong relationships with the Executive team, Board, staff, and external stakeholders. Develop and uphold effective administrative systems to support daily operations and drive efficiency. Essential Skills and Experience Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment. Outstanding time management and organisational skills. High attention to detail and accuracy in work. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Skilled in minute-taking and preparing reports.
