Tourism Supervisor (Water Bikes)

X Waterbikes is looking for a full-time salaried Operations Supervisor to run the customer-facing day-to-day business, hiring out non-powered water bikes in Surfers Paradise.The duties include:greeting and preparing customerstaking in-person bookings and salessupervising the launch and return of hired water bikesbriefing customers on safety requirements prior to each launchmonitoring health and safety throughout the dayusing inflatable motorboat when needed to assist customersThe ideal candidate will:be a self-starterbe able to work with and without supervisionhave some experience with sales, retail or tourism businessesbe fit and capable - occasional lifting of bikes required onto trolleys and into watershow attention to detail following health and safety requirementsideally have experience in a similar watersports or tourism venturehave a current first aid certificate and marine license (the company can assist with these if needed).Benefits include:Above-award salary (Miscellaneous Award 2020)Close to Public Transport or Car Park availableMix of air-conditioned office and outdoors.New tourism venture - flexibility to structure the job/tasks to fit!Please include a copy of your resume with relevant experience when applying, thank you!
