About Us Railway Adventures is a successful boutique tour operator specialising in rail-themed travel experiences across Australia and around the world. Since we launched 12 years ago, thousands of travellers have travelled with us on everything from dinky little heritage trains, to local trains, to luxury private trains in places as close to home as the central west of NSW, and to places as far flung as Sihanoukville in Cambodia or a village in the mountains of Serbia. We currently run about 60 tours a year and are adding more and more adventures every year.
Our engaged (and large) database of predominantly self-funded retirees, supported by a positive social media presence and a stable of outstanding tour leaders means our journeys are often fully subscribed within a few weeks of being released and the guest mix on tours is a healthy blend of loyal repeat travellers and brand new ones, trying us out for the first time.
Our 2025 program is in place and we have already scoped 2026 and beyond, with a mixture of popular repeat itineraries, reprised itineraries and brand new journeys. This is where you come in! We need to expand our Product team to deliver these experiences.
Our dog friendly office is in Sydney's inner west with lots of free parking and good public transport options. I'll say that again - dog friendly - if you aren't a dog lover or prefer not to have dogs in the office, then you may not be happy here. If you love the joy that loved and happy dogs bring, then we may be just what you're looking for!
About the Role The primary responsibility of this role is to build on what we've already got in place to maintain our reputation as a leading tour operator by ensuring that our current itineraries are kept fresh and new tours offer interesting and unique destinations and experiences for our guests at a price that represents outstanding value for money, rather than 'a bargain'.
