The AAT Kings Group (AAT Kings, Inspiring Journeys, SEIT Outback Australia and Down Under Tours) has grown to be Australia and New Zealand's leading group touring company, delivering over 100 exceptional Guided Holidays, Short Breaks and Day Tour experiences across all corners of these magnificent destinations.  We are part of The Travel Corporation (TTC) where the philosophy is to create enriching experiences for traveller's by combining an unbeatable mix of exceptional service and quality at great value.   At AAT Kings Group and our global family-owned parent company, The Travel Corporation (TTC), we believe in pushing boundaries to provide remarkable experiences.  The Role: We have several permanent, full-time Driver Guide positions based in Alice Springs, Uluru (Ayers Rock), Darwin and the Top End. We are looking for 3 Tour Guides including 1x Italian speaking Tour Guide.  We also have several permanent, full-time Driver Guide apprenticeship style program positions based at our Uluru (Ayers Rock) Resort in Yulara. This is a program for you to start your career in the travel industry with 6-12 month commitment with full training and accreditations. You will be reimbursed for costs associated with Police Check, Medical Check and required Certificates/Licenses (for eligible employees). You will deliver exceptional tours around Alice Springs and the MacDonnall Ranges, Kata Tjuta, Uluru and Kings Canyon; And around the Top End including Darwin City, The Jumping Croc tour, Kakadu and Litchfield as well as to Katherine where the tropics meets the outback. You will also be operating our epic Day Tours, transporting our guests out to award-winning outdoor dining experiences including our very own BBQ experience. Truly, no two days are the same!  – Training Provided.   Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer experience to all our guests. Provide entertaining, timely and engaging commentary, presenting information in a clear and professional manner. Ensure maximum standards of safety, care, and comfort for guests. Follow processes and procedures, including incident reporting. Be a great storyteller as you take our guests on local experiences full of history and culture. Regular travel and weekend work will be required.   We would love to hear from you if you have: Current & valid Australian Drivers HR license with experience in driving Coaches - (Driving Coaches experience not compulsory for Entry Level applicants). Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position - (Not required for Entry Level applicants). Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service position for Entry Level applicants. Current Senior First Aid certificate and CPR certification - or willingness to obtain. Current NT Vehicle Passenger Authority – or willingness to obtain – this is comprised of a Police Check and Medical Check. NT Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)– or willingness to obtain. Great Communication skills, strong quality service attitude and approach to guests. Basic mechanical knowledge. Ability to work effectively within the team autonomously and unsupervised. Have a reasonable level of fitness (lifting to 20kgs and a fair amount of walking).
