As our Torres Strait Islander Cultural Liaison , you'll work closely with Goodstart centre teams and the community to make a meaningful difference.
Partnering with our internal and external stakeholders, you'll play a vital role in implementing our Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs) and fostering cultural safety and responsiveness across Goodstart.
Your Impact: In this role, you'll build strong relationships, drive change, and connect our centres with Torres Strait Islander communities to create positive, lasting impacts for children and families.
You will use your deep cultural knowledge to amplify our impact and strengthen our commitment to culturally inclusive education and environments.

Strengths and experience in: Connecting and collaborating with the Torres Strait Islander community both in the Islands and on the Mainland Proven experience of advising on Torres Strait Islander culture and history Demonstrated ability to assess and communicate strengths and needs of culturally responsive early childhood educational practice Excellent written communication skills (reports, resource development, training materials, policy and procedures) Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and influence across all levels within the organisation Strong organisational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Requirements: Working with Children Clearance Qualification in education or community services (desirable) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable) Full Australian Birth Certificate or Passport How to apply Click 'Apply Now' and submit your application.
