Our Federal Government Client is engaging in TOPS External Facilitator within their Temporary Election Workforce Purpose: The TOPS External Facilitator is responsible for delivering training sessions to Temporary Election Workforce (TEW) polling officials in preparation for federal elections or referendums.
This involves delivering a standardized national training package, assessing participant comprehension, and collaborating with a Training Subject Matter Expert (SME) to address technical questions.
Key Responsibilities: Complete online and virtual training in preparation for election events.Deliver in-person training sessions for polling officials per national standards.Coordinate with federal government client staff for training schedules and ongoing session needs.Collect, transport, and set up training materials as required.Work closely with the Training SME to ensure consistent delivery of key messages.Monitor session effectiveness, track participant understanding, and report any issues.Accurately document training records and resolve incidents in line with procedures.Organisational Accountabilities: Adhere to APS Values, Code of Conduct, and Ballot Paper Principles.Follow the federal government client's policies, avoid conflicts of interest, and remain apolitical.Support and comply with the federal government client's health and safety frameworks.Complete mandatory role-specific learning and development.Mandatory Requirements: Extensive experience in facilitation with strong adaptability to diverse topics.Ability to work under pressure with flexibility, including weekends.Strong communication skills to engage a diverse audience.High integrity and ability to represent the federal government client professionally.Australian citizenship, age 18+, with a valid driver's license.Access to a mobile phone, email, a personal vehicle, and a laptop with HDMI connectivity.Must pass a character clearance, including a police check.Other Essential Requirements: Willingness to travel and work across various locations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
