About the position: As a Property & Commercial Lawyer, you will manage junior lawyers and paralegals, providing guidance and training to help them excel.
You will handle a diverse caseload of property and commercial matters, ensuring billable targets are met while offering robust support to your team.
Typical Duties: Client Consultations: Provide expert legal advice on property and commercial law matters.
Case Management: Efficiently manage and prioritise a diverse caseload.
Legal Documentation: Prepare, review, and file essential legal documents.
Court Representation: Advocate for clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.
Negotiations: Strive for favourable outcomes in settlements and agreements.
Team Leadership: Guide and supervise junior staff, fostering their development.
Training and Mentorship: Create a collaborative and educational environment for junior staff.
Legal Research: Conduct research to support case strategies and stay current on property and commercial law developments.
Client Advocacy: Protect and advocate for clients' interests in all proceedings.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and firm policies.
