Aboriginal applicants will be granted priority consideration for this vacancy.Primary objective: To support the work unit through the provision of high-level administrative services including electronic monitoring (EM) inventory management, stock control and preparation of compliance runs.Key duties and responsibilitiesCoordination of EM Stock/Inventory including developing and implementing processing and systems to ensure accurate record keeping of EM equipment.Undertake regular audits and timely follow up of outstanding EM equipment with the priority of minimising stock losses.Monitor various generic inboxes including providing timely responses to emails, allocation of EM equipment and support to staff and stakeholders via the delivery of accurate information.Coordinate return of EM equipment including cleaning and maintenance, testing, and reporting of faults for timely action.Contribute to the development of Top End Compliance Officer run systems including the preparation of run documents and accurate record keeping.As directed, undertake a range of administrative tasks to support the delivery of EM and community-based offender programs.Selection criteriaEssentialSound written and oral communication skills including a demonstrated ability to communicate well with a wide range of people from culturally diverse backgrounds and demonstrated listening and negotiation skills.Understanding of the technologies relevant to EM and the ability to acquire and keep up to date with technological changes relating to EM.Proven ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, meet deadlines and work effectively with minimal supervision.Effective IT and computer skills and demonstrated high level usage of Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and an aptitude for learning new systems.Understanding of the principles of stock control and/or inventory management or ability to quickly acquire.Capacity to work effectively in a busy work environment with a high level of flexibility, initiative, and self-motivation.DesirableExperience working with Community Corrections, the criminal justice system, or related fields.Further informationSuccessful applicant must hold a manual Northern Territory Driver's Licence and may be required to travel within regional and remote communities and camp out when required.
