About TGS
TGS was founded in 1875. It is an independent non-denominational day and boarding school for boys with a total enrolment of 1,200 from Preparatory to Year 12. There are approximately 300 boarders in the School coming predominantly from throughout Queensland, Northern New South Wales and the Northern Territory. The School's campus covers 20.5 hectares and is located one kilometre from the centre of Toowoomba.

About the Position
The Inclusive Education Teacher will bring demonstrated expertise in inclusive education proficiency in evidence-based and inclusive pedagogical practices, particularly in mathematics, universal design for learning, curriculum accessibility and differentiated instruction to support diverse learning needs and ensure equitable learning experiences for all students.
TGS Teachers play a pivotal role in designing and delivering innovative teaching programs aligned with our learning philosophies. Your expertise will contribute to cultivating an environment that empowers students to become confident and independent thinkers. You will collaborate with a supportive academic team and engage with various stakeholders, including parents and fellow educators.
Selection Criteria:
The following selection criteria should be addressed with reference to the mathematics key learning area and intervention:
Inclusive Teaching and Learning: Demonstrated knowledge, implementation, and evaluation of aligned and accessible curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment to ensure equitable learning experiences for all students. Collaborative Practice: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with classroom teachers to plan, implement, and evaluate inclusive curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment for a diverse classroom. Multi-tiered Systems of Support & Data Informed Practice: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing, evaluating, and improving student outcomes within a multi-tiered system of support using data-driven practices to identify student needs, guide targeted interventions, and assess the effectiveness of strategies to enhance learning and achievement in mathematics. Inclusive Culture and Community: Demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive, whole-school culture that actively engages the broader community. Advancing Inclusive Education: Demonstrated commitment to advancing inclusive education within the profession to foster an educational environment that supports and values diversity. Candidates must be registered, or eligible for registration, as teachers in Queensland and be willing to participate in the co-curricular programme of the School.
