Role and Responsibilities As a Toolmaker specialising in precision mould tooling, you'll be at the forefront of the manufacturing process, utilising advanced CNC machines, EDM technology, and traditional bench fitting techniques to create flawless mould tools across the broad range of existing and next generation consumer products. Utilise advanced CNC machines and EDM technology to manufacture precision mould tools with exceptional accuracyInterpret complex engineering drawings and CAD models to ensure the seamless integration of design specifications into the manufacturing processPerform meticulous bench fitting and finishing operations to fine-tune mould tools to exacting standardsConduct comprehensive quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to verify dimensional accuracy and surface finishCollaborate closely with design, engineering and production colleagues to troubleshoot issues, optimise manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement initiativesAdhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment in accordance with company standardsYour Skills and Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Toolmaker in a precision engineering or mould tooling environmentProficiency in operating CNC machines and EDM equipment, with a strong understanding of machining techniques and programmingSolid grasp of bench fitting and finishing techniques, including hand tools and precision measurement instrumentsAbility to interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD models with precision and accuracyStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challengesExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanshipA collaborative mindset and the ability to work openly and effectively in a team-oriented environmentBenefits You will work with the finest technologies in metal engineering and production in a cutting-edge facility where the team enjoy a dynamic and inclusive work culture that fosters creativity, innovation, teamwork and a healthy work/life balance.
