We are seeking a factory labourer / punch operator to assist in the fabrication of aluminum sections for doors and windows.
Duties will include using a punch machine to slot aluminum, operating a gantry crane, packing long lengths of aluminum (up to 15kg) ready for dispatch, and ensuring adherence to all safe work procedures.
This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a highly reputable market leader: This role will start as temporary labour hire (but permanent opportunities may present in the future).Currently, we roster both day (5:00am – 3:00pm) and night (5:00pm – 3:00am) shifts across Monday to Friday.
Availability is needed to work on both day and night shifts to meet business needs.Current Forklift licence required.Casual hourly rate (with possible overtime).To be considered for this work, you will definitely need: Previous labouring experience.Car and licence.Able to work a rotating roster of weekly day and night alternating shifts.Team player with good work ethic, including reliability and punctual attendance.Willingness to follow instructions and commitment to working safely.Appropriate level of physical fitness to undertake a range of manual handling / labouring tasks in this environment (training in safe work procedures will be provided).Appropriate work wear including steel cap boots, long pants, and yellow hi-vis long sleeved shirts.Availability to commence ASAP at Loganlea.If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Russell (during business hours) on 3812 2920 or email .
