Play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing workplace safety! We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
team member to support safety initiatives, assist in compliance processes, and provide administrative expertise.


The Position
As a Business Support Officer, you will:
Undertake work across a broad range of administration activities within the Workplace Health and Safety Team. Assist in identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities for the efficient and effective provision of administration services to support WHS operations; and

Liaise with all levels of Council staff in relation to WHS matters. For more information, please download a copy of the Position Description.

Qualifications and Experience
The successful applicant is expected to have.

Current Unrestricted 'C' Class Drivers Licence Experience in either a people management or Safety position, or similar relevant role. Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety or other relevant field, or ability and willingness to obtain. Proficiency in using office productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant tools for data entry, report generation, and communication.

Working with Children Blue Card Construction White Card The package includes: Up to 12% Superannuation Contribution. 9-day fortnight – (Rostered Days Off); 5 Weeks Annual Leave including 17.5% Leave Loading. 15 Days Sick Leave per annum. Provision for Uniforms and PPE; and Additional Training and Professional Development.
