To support a rapidly expanding business, we are seeking an enthusiastic Hardware Engineer with demonstrated experience in designing, building and verifying embedded software associated with signal processing and embedded systems.
This position is based in Fyshwick, Canberra.
Advanced Design Technology may consider supporting relocation within Australia for the right candidate.
Key Projects
Large scale and distributed signal processing Embedded signal processing Network infrastructure (Layer 2 & 3) High speed 5G & 6G communications and surveillance systems Key Responsibilities
Design of mixed signal (analog and digital), communication and signal electronic circuits Design of complex multilayer circuit boards Working with mechanical and system engineers Testing, verification and integration of circuits and assemblies, from prototype to production and deployment The Person
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have a combination of the following:
Tertiary qualifications in Electronics or Communications Engineering (or a related discipline).
Individuals nearing the completion of their studies may also be considered.
Thorough understanding of electronics fundamentals, including circuit design and PCB layout.
An appreciation of breaking out high pin-count components (>3000 balls).
An appreciation for high speed PCB design and signal integrity/electromagnetics using 2.5D industry tools.
A high level of initiative and work ethic.
A logical approach to problem solving.
An inquiring mind and a commitment to continued learning.
The ability to work closely within a team.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Desirable
2 years experience designing multilayer PCBs.
