Title Trainer and Assessor (Casual) - AESEDCasual SEE Trainer and Assessor - Devonport, TAS As a trainer and assessor, you will play a key part in providing additional support to the team in the successful delivery of the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program.
Responsibilities:Deliver language, literacy, numeracy & digital skills training to jobseekersSupport the team by completing Pre-Training Assessments (PTAs)Make a difference in the communityThe opportunity:Engage students using effective learning techniques and maintain a student-centred approachIdentify barriers to learning to support student attendanceBring learning to life for students and use different forms of communication to gain positive outcomesConduct pre-training assessments and implement training to meet contract requirementsAbout you:Hold TAE40110 and upgrades (or willing to obtain upgrades) OR TAE40116 OR TAE40122A specialist adult Language Literacy and Numeracy qualification or TESOL qualification preferredKnowledge of the Australian Core Skills Framework preferredAbility to work with Youth and other diverse participantsA driven, supportive, and community-minded person, working with disadvantaged learners and non-English speakersAble to motivate and upskill jobseekers to improve their LLN skills to complete education and gain employmentCapacity and desire to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environmentStrong knowledge of the VET sector and the National Standards for RTOs (2015)Excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within vocational areaNext steps:If you have a passion for helping people, please click 'apply' to find out more about the role.
