The Role The Junior Claims Adjuster will work as part of the Claims Department reporting to the National Head of Claims and Team Leader. The Junior Claims Adjuster will be responsible for the management of allocated claims, data entry on Graile and any other TPA system, producing claims histories, policy documentation, claims correspondence and assisting with managing electronic communications between service providers (lawyers and loss adjusters), brokers, insureds and interested third parties. Managing workflows in accordance with clearly documented procedures contained in the claims handling manual.
Key Responsibilities Process new claims/notifications Management of short tail claims Instruct legal service providers and loss adjusters Produce policy documents & generate claims histories Complete outstanding reminders and peer reviews Enter and process claims payments once approved Manage claims reporting as requested by the Team Leader The Candidate - Skills, Qualifications & Experience Tertiary qualification Proven Administration and/or Operations skills Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Demonstrated problem solving skills Understanding of the importance of:acting within authority, guidelines policies and procedures; and requirements of corporate auditing principles and processes Experience in an insurance claims department or legal experience highly regarded #J-18808-Ljbffr
