University Degree in Mechanical Engineering Role Opportunity We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our Perth team, focusing on maintenance and reliability engineering for an onshore gas facility. This role involves delivering expert-level technical support and leadership in areas such as maintenance strategy development, data optimisation, asset reliability, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Benefits 12-month contract Hourly rate of $110 - $120 incl super Tier 1 EPCM company with a strong portfolio of projects in mining and oil & gas Essential Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Extensive experience in maintenance engineering within the Oil & Gas sector. Strong background in maintenance improvement techniques such as FMECA, RCA, and RCM. Proficient in CMMS systems with a solid understanding of regulatory and statutory requirements. Exceptional problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive, results-driven approach. Duties & Responsibilities Provide maintenance engineering expertise in line with client and regulatory expectations. Refine and implement maintenance strategies to maximise equipment performance and reliability. Develop and maintain CMMS Master Data, conduct criticality analyses, and manage critical spare parts. Perform audits and identify opportunities for process improvements. Conduct inspections of process piping, vessels, and equipment to ensure compliance. Support operational and maintenance teams, driving collaboration and safety improvements. Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve design challenges and enhance specifications.
