Tiler

Westside Tile is seeking a full-time wall & floor tiler position to be filled by a motivated and enthusiastic individual.
Successful applicant will be required to do the following; • Examine plans and prepare work and materials by calculating scales • Clean and level surfaces for tiling • Prepare and apply adhesives or mix cement • Lay tile and cut to fit space and corners using appropriate equipment • Grout and remove excess grout between tiles • Remove and fix tiles cleanly and accurately • Apply waterproofing for wall and floor tiling • Ensure correct alignment and spacing for aesthetic finish • Adhere to health and safety regulations • Ensure completion of projects on time and meet deadlines • Uphold values of the company and always aim for excellence Qualification or Work Experience • Certificate III in Wall and Floor tiling plus 2 years of full time experience; OR • At least five years of work experience as a skilled tiler
