Support the Voith Group | Voith Hydro as aLockout-Tagout (LOTO) Coordinator (m / f / d) - Night shiftJob ID 74442 | Location Snowy / AustraliaReady for a new challenge (in down under)?Join one of the top players in the hydropower and renewable energies market and contribute to shaping the mega trend decarbonization!Under the supervision of the HSE Manager, the Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of personnel and the protection of equipment by managing the LOTO program.Our LOTO program ensures that all machines and equipment are isolated from all potentially hazardous energy sources (zero energy state) and locked and tagged out before any work is performed where the unexpected energizing, start-up or release of stored energy could cause injury.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and implement LOTO procedures for equipment and create switching orders when applicable.Create and maintain LOTO mimic board.Coordinate site LOTO-related activities in the affected work areas with all parties.Conduct training sessions on LOTO procedures for all affected personnel.Perform daily LOTO tailboards; explain any changes to the system and address questions.Maintain records of all site LOTO-related activities and training sessions.Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with LOTO procedures.Participate in investigations of incidents related to LOTO failures and propose corrective actions.Promptly address any safety concerns by reporting them to the General Site Manager or designated delegate.Your ProfileDegree in Electrical Engineering, or related field.Ability to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget.Previous demonstrated experience in developing and implementing lockout / tagout procedures.Construction and / or E&M experience is required.Proficient technical and operational knowledge of safety regulations and standards.Strong communication and training skills with the ability to influence others to prioritize safety.Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.Proactive mindset in anticipating challenges and delivering strategic problem-solving solutions.Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English in an international team environment.Physical RequirementsAble to pass pre-employment medical, Drug & Alcohol test and Police check.Must be able to stand, walk and climb as necessary.Availability for night shifts.Site ConditionsA typical roster of 14 days in, 7 days out.Camp accommodation is provided.We offer you an international working environment with an open and inclusive company culture.In addition, you can expect flexible working models, sustainable development opportunities and various offers for the compatibility of family and career as well as health and well-being.Apply now via our web portal.The Voith Hydro GmbH & Co.
