The Opportunity:
UGL Utilities division is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator for a Power Station project based in the Hunter Valley region.
The Project:
Located in the small suburb of Loxford in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, approximately three km north of the town of Kurri Kurri, and approximately 35 km west of Newcastle and 125 km north of Sydney.
The Hunter Power Station Project is expected to have approximately 660 megawatts generated via two heavy-duty open cycle gas turbines, with the turbines functionality incorporated into the facility. Operations serve as a backup function in the case that gas supply to the site is not available, connecting into the existing electricity transmission infrastructure located near the site.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Enter/Upload high volume of timesheets into SAP payroll Follow up on any inconsistencies or missing timesheets Liaise with Project Administrators for correct coding of timesheets Assist others in the team with timesheet entry to ensure payroll deadlines are met Process any changes required before sign-off Understand and answer basic queries relating to Enterprise Agreements (EA's) and Contract of Employment (COE's) Address payroll queries in a timely manner To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Minimum 2 years' experience in time sheeting and payroll process Self-motivated and proactive with a high level of attention to detail Advanced Excel and computer skills SAP Experience (Advantageous) Strong attention to detail with accurate word processing and data entry skills Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and complete work within established deadlines About Us:
