The Principal Allied Health Project Officer will be critical in the successful implementation of the Service Critical Workforce Framework and progression of the action plan strategies.
The Service-Critical Workforce Implementation Support Strategy is funded by the Office of the Chief Allied Health Officer (OCAHO) and supported by Allied Health Education and Training (AHET), Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service.
Provide targeted support to rural and remote services to enable implementation of the Framework, including backfill funding for a local project lead and implementation advice/coaching.
Assist selected teams to assess and manage service continuity risks associated with small workforce establishments and staffing instability.
The term of the project implementation support is 20 weeks, which includes 12 weeks using the eight-step Service-Critical Workforce Framework to develop the Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service, Allied Health, Service Critical Workforce Action Plan, and eight weeks to allow the team to commence implementation of Action Plan strategies.
