Expression of Interest – Site Supervisor
Shamrock Civil is a privately owned civil construction company, delivering services to the Defence & Government sectors, gas and mining, transport infrastructure and commercial.
Our team of more than 180 staff operate across offices in Brisbane, Townsville, Rockhampton, Adelaide, Melbourne and Darwin.
We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for Site Supervisor positions across our offices, with opportunities to join our team in 2025.
As a Site Supervisor with Shamrock, you'll play a vital role in assisting the Project Manager in the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all onsite activities throughout site establishment, construction, inspection, testing, commissioning, and demobilization phases.
Assess project tasks, devise appropriate methodologies, and ensure that work is completed safely, within schedule, and in alignment with commercial specifications.
Maintain comprehensive daily supervisory reports and detailed project work schedules.
Serve as the primary liaison between client representatives, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate communication and coordination.
Manage plant and equipment, implement quality, safety, and environmental measures, and supervise site personnel to ensure compliance with SWMS and PPE requirements.
Actively participate in hazard identification, incident investigations, and safety meetings to foster a proactive safety culture.
Qualifications and Experience:
General safety induction card and First Aid certificate.
Certificate 3 in Civil Construction or related trade qualification.
Highly Desirable: Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in relevant areas.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project.
Knowledge of modern construction techniques and project methodologies.
