Your Key Responsibilities will be:
Manage a diverse client portfolio, providing tailored tax and accounting advice to support business growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact. Work closely with partners and directors to explore new business opportunities and industries. Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance documentation. Identify opportunities for clients to improve their financial performance and tax efficiency. Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support as they develop their skills. Stay up to date with changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and industry trends. Contribute to business development and growth initiatives, including client referrals and networking. Work collaboratively with the internal client services team to ensure a seamless client experience. Take on increasing responsibility and actively participate in the firm's strategic planning and decision-making processes. What you will bring to the role:
Dedicated and professional accountant, eager for continuous growth within your career. Experience in private practice with a strong understanding of the systems and processes that drive business growth. Passionate about delivering exceptional client service. Skills and Experience:
2-3 years of tax accounting experience in private practice in Australia. Strong proficiency with Xero accounting software. A relevant accounting degree. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Essential:
