Company Overview:
A growing food manufacturer based in Sydney's South is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their team, following significant expansion and a recent site acquisition.
This newly created role is integral to supporting the company's objectives, with a primary focus on health and safety management and an additional responsibility for overseeing environmental impact.
The company specializes in producing a range of ready-to-eat products.

Typical tasks include:
Review the current Health and Safety program and implement improvements for a more robust system where needed.
Record all incidents/accidents and negate any risks to reduce LTIs.
Conduct regular risk assessments - identify and communicate results.
Ensure the company is compliant with OH&S legislation and regulation.
Conduct regular training for operations staff on Health and Safety (including contractor inductions).
Other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety or relevant field.
Proven experience in Health & Safety.
High energy and determination to succeed.
FMCG background – food-related highly regarded or heavy industry.
Strong communication and training skills.
High attention to detail.
Strong knowledge of state and federal OH&S legislation.
