The Role:
Macquarie University is recruiting for a new Life-Long Learning Partner to effectively support the design and delivery of Life-Long Learning initiatives including Microcredentials.
Reporting to the Manager Enterprise and Employability, this position provides subject matter expertise and strategic guidance in Life-long Learning.
The Partner contributes to the design, optimisation, and enhancement of MQ Microcredentials as we expand our suite of offerings.
The role also entails rigorous co-ordination of compliance efforts across the University.
The Partners manage relationships and provide support to academic staff across Faculties, including Deputy Deans Education and Employability, Associate Deans, Course Directors, and Unit Convenors.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) is the Chief Academic Officer of the University and is the member of the University Executive with overall responsibility for the planning, quality and delivery of education provided to Macquarie's undergraduate and graduate students.
The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) is responsible for the University's educational endeavour across all aspects of the educational lifecycle, including pathways and access, curriculum and educational capability development, educational outcomes and graduate success, as well as the Macquarie University College.

A tertiary qualification in a relevant area and/or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience in Continuing Education in a higher education/University environment.
Expertise and sustained experience delivering excellence in Lifelong Learning, combined with strong understanding of the higher education context and evolving policy environment.
Extensive track record of driving the design and optimisation of programs and initiatives in Lifelong Learning, including optimising quality and efficiency through procedures, systems and processes.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess program effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Proven ability to liaise with and provide advice and support to academic staff, such as Deputy Deans Education and Employability, Associate Deans, Course Directors, and Unit Convenors.
Proven ability to stay abreast of current trends, research, and best practices within the field, and apply findings to program development and optimisation efforts.
