About You and The Role To be successful in this role, it is expected that you will have the following skills:
Registered member of Engineers Australia (Preferred).
Working towards CPEng or interest in pursuing.
Australian Citizenship or permanent working rights in Australia (preferred).
Experience with Engineering modelling software (including CAD/REVIT).
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with various stakeholders (external & internal).
Highly disciplined in undertaking quality assurance activities to ensure delivery excellence.
Strong technical knowledge of power systems, protection principles, and their operations.
Over 4 years of experience in a relevant field.
The key responsibilities will include: Undertaking hydraulic and other computational calculations.
Assessing buildings, both existing and new against the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.
Implementing system designs in accordance with relevant Australian and International Standards.
Documenting system designs in both preparation of technical specifications and technical drawings utilising Autodesk REVIT and AutoCAD software packages.
Liaising with authorities.
Building relationships between clients, contractors, and authorities.
Report and fee writing.
Attending meetings and site inspections and other construction phase responsibilities.
