Job Description: Our industrial services client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their team for a 6-month contract with the potential for a permanent position.
This Infrastructure Engineer will be a crucial resource in ensuring completion on major projects across core operations, cloud services, and networking.

Key Responsibilities: Utilise infrastructure experience to support key projects around core operations, cloud services, and networking.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for infrastructure-related issues, minimising downtime and ensuring business continuity.
Work closely with other members of the IT team, stakeholders, and vendors to align infrastructure initiatives with business goals.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
Involve in Return on Investment (ROI) analysis and reporting.
Required Skills and Experience: Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud services (Azure preferred).
Proficiency in virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. In-depth understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and network security.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
