Job Responsibility:
Manages and oversees the operations of a company that runs a fleet of vehicles for transporting goods and passengers.
Duties:
Managing the procurement and upkeep of transport vehicles, equipment, and fuel.Communicating with clients to assess their needs, offering guidance on vehicle options, purchase or rental rates, contractual obligations, and resolving any complaints.Processing orders and bookings and organizing transportation schedules.Ensuring goods are stored and transported under conditions that preserve their quality.Coordinating the pickup and delivery of vehicles and goodsMaintaining accurate business records and generating operational reports and statements.Overseeing activities related to the arrival, departure, loading, and unloading of goods.Plans routes using various tools considering vehicle capacity, drivers' hours, fatigue management and permits.Ensuring adherence to occupational health and safety regulations.Qualification:
AQF Diploma or Higher QualificationMinimum 2 years of experience in related field
