We are looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Patient Services Officer (Medical Receptionist) to help within our teams throughout our Adelaide clinics in a part-time, permanent role. In this patient-facing role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to clients and staff while remaining professional, caring, and friendly in an ever-changing environment. You are the friendly face the patients meet and greet every day so building rapport really makes their experience.
More specifically, you will:
Work in an administrative role where customer focus is the top priority. Act as the first point of contact to patients and provide excellent customer service both face to face and over the phone. Adapt to and manage an environment where there is ongoing change and competing priorities. Book and confirm patients for appointments and consultations. Billing and receipting at the time of appointment. Accurately process relevant paperwork including data entry. Ensure the smooth running of the clinic. Continuously liaise with the team to ensure efficient processes. Manage patient records and filing of patient notes. Be required to work across all four Adelaide sites. We're interested in hearing from people who:
May have previous medical industry experience. Eager to learn new systems and applications for managing patient and doctor requests. Demonstrate ability to provide ongoing patient care and customer service. Have strong communication skills. Have previous experience working individually or as part of a team. Possess knowledge of patient billing systems and related Medicare mechanisms would be highly valued. Have exceptional phone manner and ability to handle a high volume of patient inquiries. High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Are flexible with their approach to work and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Benefits of joining our team:
