We are seeking a highly skilled automotive refinisher to join our team at East Coast 4x4, a family-owned business specializing in rebuilding off-road 4x4 vehicles.
About the OpportunityAs a Spray Painter/Panel Beater, you will be responsible for performing panel beating and spray painting on Toyota and Nissan 4x4 vehicles, as well as all other vehicle types.
Your tasks will include carrying out general repairs and resprays, collaborating with team members, working independently, ensuring high-quality finishes, and contributing your personal input and new ideas to enhance our processes.
About YouYou should have a minimum of 2 years of trade experience.A positive and genuine attitude, along with a strong work ethic, is essential.Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are required.You must be able to work unsupervised and follow instructions as needed.Strong time management skills and attention to detail are necessary.A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship is expected.Salary and BenefitsThe salary range for this position is $36-$43 per hour, commensurate with experience and quality of work.
We offer competitive pay rates well above the award for the right candidate, and we are open to discussing higher subcontract rates for individuals who demonstrate exceptional skills, potentially exceeding $120k in earning capacity.
