The Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking an Executive Assistant - APS 4 level, for a fixed term contract of 12 months. S26 transfer also available.
Provide high level executive administrative support to the National Manager to facilitate key business outcomes and offer support to site and business line staff in the provision of local and national activities.
Primary Duties:

Deliver a wide range of executive support and operational administrative services to Senior Management including: preparation and coordination of a range of general and confidential written communications including correspondence, board papers, secretariat agendas and minutes undertaking research, as required drafting, under general direction, correspondence and reports file management diary management, email management and answering enquiries organising and coordinating meetings, teleconferences, venues travel/accommodation arrangements administrative support for the delivery of programs and events for the Division. Support senior executives in ensuring all business line functions are undertaken in accordance with relevant legislation, procedures, management assurance practices and guidelines.
All duties will be performed in accordance with:
the APS Values, Code of Conduct and Employment Principles WHS obligations, taking responsibility for own health and safety and that of others Risk management framework and relevant legislation, including guiding others to identify and mitigate foreseeable risks. Skills and Capabilities:

Supports in coordination and prioritising office administration tasks including setting up systems, processing, facilities coordination, processing support, ICT user support and coordinating travel and accommodation with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Collaborates internally and externally Embrace a diversity of people and opinions and facilitate an environment for the open exchange of ideas. Actively seeks different perspectives, experiences and techniques from a broad spectrum of sources, when analysing complex problems. Actively engage within the colleagues, broader APS, government, industry stakeholders and citizens to build strong relationships as a trusted partner to design & deliver appropriate and effective policy, regulation and/or programs. Communicates simply, tailoring messages to audience Communicate clearly in plain English, without using jargon. Demonstrate an ability to convey a message succinctly and with empathy, regardless of medium (written, verbal, digital). Understand the target audience, and tailors written and verbal messages in a way that appeals to them.
Location and Contract Term: This role is Canberra based. 12-month fixed term contract or S26 transfer.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a current baseline security clearance.
