Position Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in network / system administration Good understanding of either layer 3-4 or layer 4-7 protocols PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience configuring and troubleshooting either software-based (IPsec & SSL) VPN solutions, or hardware-based VPN devices Experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications Demonstrated proficiency in network administration (DNS, BGP, Load Balancing) Understanding of firewall concepts and rules, or data center load-balancing technologies Understanding of hardware or software Load Balancers in a large data center environment Systems administration in Linux / Unix or Windows Network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills Posted : November 5, 2024 (Updated 27 minutes ago)
As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will act as the 'Cloud Ambassador' across all the cloud products, arming our customers with required tools & tactics to get the most out of their Product and Support investment. This role supports and focuses on our Networking services such as Elastic Load Balancing.
A successful candidate is not expected to be a cloud expert prior to joining AWS, but securing a role as a Cloud Engineer in AWS Support is a great way to become one! In AWS Support, every day will bring new and exciting challenges on the job. On a typical day, a Cloud Engineer will be primarily responsible for solving customers' issues through a variety of contact channels.
