Hours: 36.00 hours per week (9 day fortnight)

The Office of the CEO is responsible for supporting the Chief Executive Officer in overseeing high-performing outcomes across the City's administration.
About the role
The Internal Communications Support Officer will work closely with the Manager Media and Internal Communications and the wider Internal Communications team to support the delivery of messaging to staff, contributing to building a One City approach to communications.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Manage incoming enquiries to the team (verbal/written) as a first point of contact with professionalism, ensuring accurate and timely responses are provided.
Manage internal communications bookings and consult with the team to schedule content.
Follow up with internal clients to ensure content is submitted and meets specifications and answer queries related to internal communications channels.
Publish content to internal communications channels including the Staff Hub (employee intranet).
Assist with the creation and submission of design briefs and liaise with Marketing and External Communications to deliver on communications campaigns.
Support the delivery of internal communications events and initiatives.
Assist with the organisation of various meetings including but not limited to room/equipment bookings, catering, invitations and online forums.
We're looking for people who have:
Diploma in Business Administration, Communications, Journalism or Equivalent Knowledge Ability to work productively in a team environment and foster good relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders.
Ability to communicate and interact courteously and efficiently with internal and external customers to ensure a positive image of the Council is portrayed.
