The Chief Workforce Officer is a Senior Management position that plays a key organisational role to ensure that Congress has a trained and dedicated workforce to service the needs of its community. This position reports to the HR General Manager, leads and is responsible for the day-to-day operational responsibilities of the Congress Employee Relations (ER) and Recruitment teams.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an individual with experience leading a HR team who is looking to advance their career towards senior or executive management. The ideal candidate will have university qualifications in a relevant field and strong knowledge of industrial relations and contemporary management practices.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, build rapport and manage conflict is crucial in this position, as well as an ethical approach to HR practice. Strategic thinking with a positive attitude to problem solving is a must.
