Within the homely Residential Aged Care Facility located on the Fraser Coast, QLD, the Senior Lifestyle Coordinator plays a key role in leading a passionate team in creating and implementing tailored leisure and lifestyle programs aimed at improving the quality of life for the residents.
Responsibilities
Create and oversee group activities customized to meet residents' individual needs Plan and organize recreational activities that ensure the unique needs, values, and spiritual and cultural preferences of each resident are respected and incorporated Work collaboratively and support junior Lifestyle Officers Work closely with the wider support team in the home to meet residents' needs Foster a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel valued, respected and cared for Key Candidate Requirements
Certificate III or IV in Leisure and Lifestyle Senior First Aid Certificate Demonstrated experience working as a Lifestyle Officer in residential aged care Experience working with people with Dementia You're a proactive, solutions-driven thinker with a passion for aged care Genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly Benefits
