Your new role
Manage production crews, providing leadership for operations and a safe working environment Adhere to Site Safety Health Management System and Environmental and other statutory management plans Ensure all operations targets are met in line with safety standards Schedule and attend daily pre-start / safety meetings Perform and submit regular Safe Act Observations (SAOs) using site supplied documentation and reporting process Build and maintain high performing teams Monitor and evaluate production outcomes and maintain accurate records What you'll need to succeed
Previous similar leadership experience within an open cut operation Knowledge of current WHS legislation and statutory requirements Flexible and adaptable to different working environments, with strong problem-solving skills Must be a team player with the ability to mentor and lead other staff Strong written and communication skills High focus and demonstrated success in maintaining an excellent safety record for teams Competency using Microsoft Office Suite Why MacKellar
