Job Description
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking an exceptional lawyer to join our global team of employment lawyers as a Senior Legal Counsel.
This role will be based in Sydney, Australia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide employment legal expertise within the ANZ region, with ad hoc support across other countries in Asia Pacific and on regional/global projects.
Collaborate with BCG's global employment centre of expertise on global projects, with opportunities to lead such projects.
Coordinate with the HR function in ANZ to ensure consistent policies and decision-making across the organization.
Partner with BCG's Global Legal Team to resolve complex HR and employment issues.
Develop and maintain legal team intellectual property, including template forms and materials.
Work with external counsel and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements:
Australia qualified lawyer with deep strategic and operational employment law expertise.
6-8+ years of PQE experience, with at least 4+ years practicing labour and employment law.
Prior in-house counsel experience preferred within a complex international organization.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Fully fluent in English, with excellent grammar.
Experience servicing international stakeholders and working in international offices viewed favourably.
Estimated Salary:
$120,000 - $180,000 per annum
