About the role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Developer to oversee delivery management and lead our team of developers both on-shore and off-shore. This role is crucial to the successful delivery of complex digital transformation projects, focusing on best practices and high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven experience in leading development teams, and the ability to manage and deliver large-scale projects.
What You'll Be Doing Oversee the end-to-end delivery of digital transformation projects. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery. Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs. Implement and drive Agile delivery methodologies and practices across the team. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to on-shore and off-shore developers. Ensure high-quality development practices and code standards across multiple code bases. Lead in the design and implementation of integration and complex solution architectures. Drive innovation and best practices in coding and development methodologies, fostering a "one way same way" approach. Manage and mentor a team of developers, ensuring their growth and development. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Handle day-to-day management of team activities, workloads, and project assignments. Act as a liaison between clients and development teams. Present technical solutions and complex digital strategies to clients in a clear and concise manner. Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction with deliverables. Participate in coding, debugging, and reviews to lead by example. Be involved in the development of key components and complex areas of the project. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of commercial development experience, with 1 year of team management. Extensive experience in designing and implementing complex solution architectures. Ability to create scalable, robust, and maintainable solutions that meet client requirements. Expertise in integrating various systems and applications seamlessly. Strong understanding of API design, RESTful web services, microservices architecture, and middleware. Hands-on experience with key programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar. Proficiency in front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) and back-end frameworks (e.g., Node.js, .NET). Strong understanding of database design and management, including relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong understanding of OOP principles. Extensive experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure. Proficiency in deploying, managing, and maintaining applications in the cloud. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization. Our people love to work for us, here's why!
