The Digital System, Solutions and Sustainment (DSSS) Branch maintains, sustains and enhances the existing suite of core digital assets used by Biosecurity, Operations and Compliance Group.
This includes remediating defects when required, configuring applications to implement infrastructure upgrades and developing new capabilities to meet changing policy and legislation needs.
The Job
Develop and document well-structured test plans and test cases based on acceptance criteria.
Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Test updates and maintenance of established departmental systems to ensure smooth, uniform user experience across varied platforms.
Test enterprise-grade software applications built using .Net, Java, Oracle, Dynamics 365 and Power automate technologies.
Develop and maintain complex manual tests in DevOps.
Develop and execute TOSCA automation scripts and other automation tools.
Work closely with team members including Product owners, Developers and Testers to understand the functionality under test.
Follow best practice test techniques when developing and executing tests.
Produce and maintain detailed test artefacts and report on testing.
Perform defect management adhering to department's process.
Provide testing reports.
What are we looking for
Knowledge and Experience
Prefer experience with Microsoft DevOps, Azure portal, Dynamics 365, SharePoint online.
Oracle based systems.
ISTQB Certification.
Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
Azure DevOps Repos, Boards, Artifacts, and Pipelines.
