You will lead operations of the store ensuring quality customer service, diligence in banking, quality sorting of donated goods and maintaining general upkeep of the shop.Responsibilities includeRecruit and train new volunteersEnsure timely management of pick-ups and deliveries of household furnitureDelegate responsibility for collection to volunteers or manage collections during normal working hoursUpdate merchandise and mannequins at least weekly or as requiredCash handling – cash and credit card transactions, end of day reconciliation and bankingGreet all customers in a warm and inviting manner. Offer assistance and advice on selections. Encourage and coach the team to do the sameEnsure safe standard operating procedures are in place and updated where necessary, and all volunteers adhere to themThis is a permanent part-time position, 30 hours per week, based in Horsham, VIC.
