Our 30 bed Ski Lodge is located in the heart of beautiful Thredbo Village and we are currently looking to appoint a dynamic and professional couple as managers for the 2025 season and beyond starting in 2025.The ideal lifestyle job for lovers of the Snowy Mountains, the position comes with a beautifully appointed north facing private 2 bedroom apartment located in our Lodge along with a car space, free wi-fi, utilities and meals. With skilful time management, time will be available for the managers to ski, snowboard or otherwise enjoy the exciting winter and summer activities the Snowy Mountains has to offer.Attunga caters for members and their guests in a comfortable and well-appointed 12 bedroom (all with ensuite) Ski Lodge complete with extensive mountain views. There is an excellent commercial kitchen, three living areas, one with an open fireplace, and a dining room.We are a friendly and collegiate club so the ideal managers will be warm and welcoming hosts with excellent interpersonal skills who are able to nurture and maintain the close community atmosphere of Club life. They will want to be part of village life and make Attunga their year-long home.The duties are varied and include:Preparation and cooking breakfast and dinner per day during the season for up to 30 peopleMenu planning and food ordering to a daily per head budget.Maintaining the commercial kitchen to the health standards required by the regulatory authorities.Ordering, replenishment and stock control of all other consumables.Cleaning & maintaining the common areas of the lodge. Cleaning, preparing and restocking bedrooms at guest turnaroundMaintaining facilities and liaising with relevant service providers.Managing guest bookings with the assistance of the Booking Director.General lodge management duties including facilitating arrivals and oversight of lodge plant and equipment.Overseeing repairs and maintenance and carrying out household handyman tasksExtensive previous experience cooking for groups along with creativity and a passion for producing exceptional food.Hospitality management experience – both front and back of house.IT skills – ability to manage online booking systemCurrent Food Safety Supervisor CertificateWorking with Children CheckValid Working Visa (if not Australian Residents)The Lodge is open year-round to members, so while this appointment is initially for the Winter Season, a year round role and accommodation is also preferred for the right people.If this sounds like the opportunity for you, please apply through Seek and send your CV with a covering email outlining your reasons for applying.Expressions of interest by 15 December 2024.Initial interviews will take place by zoom.
