Overview Rhi is recruiting for a Supply Planning Specialist to join our clients team on a 12-month contract, based in either Melbourne, Sydney or Auckland. The Supply Planning Specialist is a key contributor to the successful execution of supply chain operations within the ANZ market. Reporting to the ANZ Supply Planning Manager, this role bridges the gap between strategic supply planning and day-to-day execution. The Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation of supply plans, conducting in-depth data analysis, and ensuring seamless coordination with 3rd Party (3P) and Global Intercompany suppliers. The role plays a pivotal part in maintaining supply continuity, minimizing disruptions, and supporting broader supply chain objectives.
This position requires a combination of analytical skills, supply chain knowledge, and strong communication abilities to address challenges and optimize processes effectively. With responsibility for ensuring the smooth delivery of 75ML of imported and locally purchased products annually, the Supply Planning Specialist has a significant impact on maintaining a stable supply pipeline, supporting business success.
Responsibilities Convert System generated MRP and DRP messages through the planning system, ensuring alignment with forecasts and supplier production plans. Monitor Supplier DIFOT and support the Supply Planner to establish root causes across the value chain, feeding into issue resolution with suppliers where appropriate. Coordinate with 3P and Global Intercompany suppliers to confirm orders and track deliveries. Identify risks related to forecast variability, lead times, or geopolitical challenges, and collaborate with the Supply Planner to develop contingency plans. Qualifications Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience Minimum 2 years in Supply Planning Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and Supply Planning functionality Strong customer service focus A demonstrated capability in problem solving techniques. Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to influence others to achieve desired outcomes. The ability to think laterally and develop new concepts. Expert in analysing and interpreting data Advanced in financial analysis Advanced application in vendor management and negotiation Advanced in understanding logistical operation #J-18808-Ljbffr
