Previous fire experience is preferred; however, it is not essential.

The Role Our Bendigo team is currently seeking a Portable Fire Technician to join our service team to look after our client base in Bendigo and the surrounding region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing fire equipment in accordance with Australian Standards, along with fire equipment product sales across a diverse range of industries.
Your primary duties will include:
Maintenance and repair of portable fire protection equipment to Australian Standards Routine testing of fire protection equipment in accordance with Australian Standards Liaising with customers to promote a professional and friendly relationship Ensuring compliance with Environmental Health and Safety requirements Completing service records using smart device technology Minimum Requirements To be considered for this role, ideally, you will need to have:
Fire industry experience (highly regarded) Current Driver's Licence Strong focus and commitment to workplace safety Excellent customer service and time management skills Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Good personal presentation Willingness to multi-skill into other areas of fire protection Good computer/smart device technology skills The position requires the successful candidate to be available to participate in a callout roster and to travel to regional surrounding areas from time to time.
